Hi everyone, As many of you know, we were in Denton, Texas April 28th, 29th and 30th for the Denton Arts and Jazz. We had a BLAST! We met a lot of really nice people and visited with a lot of our friends and family. It was great to see you all. Thanks for coming out and finding us. We also got to hear a lot of great music. Aaron Neville, was there although we were working so we didn’t get to hear him perform. There was some worry about the weather but over all it turned out okay. I now know that my tent can sustain 27mph winds and how to deal with that. Surprisingly, only a few small pieces were broken due to the weather. I got to meet up with my friend Juliet of Juliet’s Jewels which is a great import store in Denton, TX. I recommend checking out her store if you are in that area.

Here is the booth all set up and looking pretty. We were told that we got a prime space.
There were some very tall people there. I guess they really do grow them bigger in Texas.
Kay stopped by.
Lee also stopped by.
And so did Bonnie and Nick Norris. Bonnie brought me cupcakes and cake pops. As you see, I had already eaten one when I thought to take a the picture. In addition to being and awesome violin player Bonnie makes the most awesomest baked goods. Here is an article I found about Bonnie. The cupcakes in the article don’t even do here work justice. If you are in Denton order a cake from her, you won’t be sorry.

Long lost Olivarez’s came out to see us. These are Stanley’s cousins who he had not seen in over fifty years! What a surprise!
Here is a video of a Saturday afternoon. I was told that turn out was a little smaller then expected this year due to the threat of bad weather. The weather held out fine! We had a fabulous time and we are planning to be there again next year.
